About Get Well Records
Our label was founded with the vision of giving back to the artist and the community that surrounds us. Focused on growing with a common goal, we believe in fair practices with artists and making sure that they come first. Another aspect of the label is giving back to community. At least 25% of every release in which the label puts out will be donated to a charity of the artist's choosing. Through our passion in life we can possibly make an impact on another's life who may need support.
One of the aims of Get Well Records is to not only release great music but also try to raise money and awareness for causes close to the artist's heart. We hope to get people to think about what it means to consume music today and maybe alter their perception of the value of recorded music. We don't want to guilt people into buying music, we want to make them feel good about buying it. Knowing your money is going not only to the artist but also to a good cause, we hope, makes that music even more valuable to the listener. They become part of the story and part of the solution.
If we are able to give back to people through a passion that we share, that passion will be that much more rewarding in the end by knowing it will go to a good cause. By donating to the research for finding cures of diseases or donating money for charities that raise social awareness, our label hopes to make a small impact on the world and the communities we live in.
